Surely, everything will make you to think twice!
1. Ajith Kumar in THUNIVU
Thunivu is a Tamil film, which written and directed by H. Vinoth. A Bank Heist Entertainer, starring Manju Warrior, Amir, Pavni, Mohanasundaram and others, which was released on 11th of January 2023.
This is the Only Film of Ajithkumar in the Decade, which was released without a BIKE SEQUENCE.
2. The Director – Music Director combo
Director GAUTAM VASUDEV MENEN is one of the leading director in Tamil Film Industry, who is best known for his romantic entertainers.
The director stepped out of his comfort zone, and done his film without his Music Companions HARRIS JAYARAJ and AR RAHMAN, which is “Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta” and “Joshua”.
Director SHANKAR, Kollywood’s Precious Director, who had a great combination with AR Rahman and Harris Jayaraj. At last, he stepped out from the zone and made “Indian 2” and “Game Changer” without them.
3. No smoking!
Beast (2022) is a Tamil Film starring Thalapathy Vijay, Pooja Hegde, VTV Ganesh, Yogibabu and others. The Mall Hijacking Entertainer is written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar which is one of the highest grosser of the year and Biggest Opening Day collection of Tamilnadu, which is 38Cr+ (Reported).
Beast is the film which does not contain any Smoking, Alcoholic scenes of the lead’s in past recent films.
4. Less English!
Vendhu Thaninthadhu Kaadu is a Tamil Gangster entertainer, which is written and directed by Gautam Vasudev Menon. The director is well known for his romantic entertainers and usage of English in his films.
But, in this film, he himself came out of his zone and termed as “Gautam Vasudev Menon ‘s Film, with Lesser English Dialogues”
5. A Silent Film
Mercury is a Tamil Film starring Prabhu Deva, which is written and directed by Karthik Subburaj.
This is the Silent Film (A film without any dialogues) which is released after a long time.
6. Cop film. But no fights!
Kaalidas is a Tamil Film starring Bharath. It is one of the most important thing to be noticed, in which the lead will be a cop.
This is the ONLY Cop film in Kollywood, which does not have any Fight Sequence.
7. Ponniyin Selvan – 2
Ponniyin Selvan – 2, the sequel of the Mega Blockbuster “Ponniyin Selvan – 1” which is derived from Kalki’s Ponniyin Selvan novel. This is a Maniratnam’s Film and Music, Background Scored by AR Rahman.
Ponniyin Selvan – 2 is a Biggest Historical Film, which involves a vast and many legendary Cast and Crew, released without a Hype and went Average.
8. VP without Yuvan
Director Venkat Prabhu is a Tamil Film Director, who is best known for his unique style and writing. His recent best works are Maanaadu and his upcoming film is with Thalapathy Vijay which is named “The Greatest Of All Time “
His combination with the Music Director Yuvan Shankar Raja is a special one. All of his films are Composed, Background Scored by Yuvan except the films “Manmadha Leelai” and “Party”
9. The Horror Film
Lift is a Tamil Horror Film starring Kavin, Amirtha Aiyer which is an OTT released Film. This film got very much positive response from the audience for their different story line.
Lift is the only film, which does not contain any Bungalow or an Apartment.
